Hollywood rating system sucks

I bought this up on the IMDB boards back in March, but it still agravates me.

So the movie "The Hunger Games" has been out for a couple of months and I'm still very irritated. Not about the movie, but about the MPAA and thier double standards. I haven't seen the movie but according to Wikipedia it contains "violence" and "gore and teens battling to the death to survive". Here the MPAA gives it a PG-13, yet a movie called "Bully", which contains kids beating other kids up and students dropping a few "f bombs is givin an R rating.

Bully doesn't contain the blood or gore "Hunger Games" but it depicts real problems and real issues that need to be addressed. Things that are happening in schools. This is something students need to pay attention to, but will be unable to watch this because of the rating.

The MPAA give this movie an R rating. I guess it's easy to rate somethng for entertainment reasons, but when it comes to something real problems that are happening I guess the MPAA has a difficult time with it. SMDH!
